Krystyna Kavanagh
MEd with Counselling (Hons), BSc, Dip Teach (Secondary), MNZAC
Krystyna is a counsellor and family therapist, with experience in supporting families of all ages and stages, particularly the adolescent phase.
She has a background in education having taught at high school and tertiary levels, counselled in schools and lead a counselling department. This informs her systemic approach to working with her clients and why she is passionate about supporting families.
Originally trained in Solution Focused Therapy, Krystyna has a strong commitment to professional development in areas including family development, the adolescent phase, trauma, and the workings of the mind and body.
Krystyna has supported clients with anxiety, low mood/depression, relationship issues (peer, family, colleagues), self-esteem, stress, and many other issues.
